New York, the city of superlatives, is greatly more than the island of Manhattan. For over a century New York was the gateway to the "Promised Land", to an America of limitless opportunity. Many people impending to New York nowadays do so for different reasons than immigrants of yore.

Tourists come to experience the speedy pace of this infinite metropolis. Who doesn't want to be part of the crowd in period shape on New living Eve, if only once? Manhattan
