We all rent a hotel room sometimes in our life. A hotel is a place where we can stay by paying some rent. It is really a good deal to stay in a city where we do not know anyone and we are looking for a place to stay. A hotel is always the first and the best option in the case. In this article, we will discuss some safety tips to make sure that your hotel room provides you everything they claim to provide. There are certain things you need to check before you check into your hotel room.

Check for Bed bugs: Bed bugs are the bugs that can make your travel a bad experience making you ill. Bedbugs usually reside in your mattresses and clothes and they feed on human blood. When you use these clothes or mattresses, bed bugs will bite you and will suck the blood out of your body leaving saliva into your body that is responsible for making you sick. So, it is better to check your bed properly for bed bugs before you check into your hotel room.

Check if AC is working: If your hotel room has AC, you must check if it is working properly. The room is occupied regularly and AC needs regular ...
... maintenance in order to work properly. If it is not working, inform the hotel room about it and request to change your room.

Check if Water is hot or not: In winters, you will need to use hot water, so it is necessary to check if hot water supply is working or not. This is only in the case if your hotel provides the service otherwise you will have to use cold water only.

Check if the telephone is working: If you have telephone in the room, check if it is working. You will need the phone to call the reception or restaurant. Also, you can use it for personal calls as the bill is included in your hotel bills.

Check if there is an adjoining room: Many times, you will find your room in attachment with another room. These hotel rooms are mainly used when a family is staying in two attached rooms that are connected by a common door. Hotel management may give you that room in case of unavailability of single rooms. If your room has an adjoining room, check if the door is closed properly from inside.

Above are some basic check points. There are many other things that you need to know and to keep in mind to make your hotel experience better.
