Are you thinking of changing to LED bulbs in your home?
Many people are now turning to LED (light emitting diode) bulbs, rather than using traditional light bulbs. Where once LED lights were just used for Christmas tree lights, now the technology is sufficiently advanced that they can be used in the home as replacements for old style lighting. There are several good reasons for using LED lights. Firstly, they are economical, using seventy per cent less energy than traditional bulbs. They are also far longer lasting too, meaning that you do not need to purchase replacements as often. They do not use harmful chemicals such as mercury and whilst they are brighter than fluorescent lights, they are not as intense and do not flicker, meaning that they are not uncomfortable on the eye.
