Choosing a fax service can be a pain the neck. There are so many companies offering similar features and prices that we need to take into account how we manage faxing. First we need to determine the amount of outbound and incoming faxes we have to deal with; online fax service companies have different packages where you can send and receive faxes, or only send / receive. You have to also determine the destination of most of yor faxing - for international faxing, companies that operate per minute will charge you a higher fee.

Once you get clear about your faxing practices, you have to go through reviewing the services that best fit your requirements at the price you want to pay. Look out for hidden charges and start up fees, they are not openly disclosed by advertising and banners.

The following factors can help you decide better on an online fax service option:

Feature Set - This include all the tools and special features you will find on a web faxing service. Most leading companies have more features besides the basic send / receive capabilities. In some cases you can even enjoy more complete communication ...
... solutions.

Ease of Use - Here you have to keep in mind how easy is to use the fax, to integrate it with your email and also how easy is to navigate their web interface to send fax documents.

Price & Other Fees - Many companies advertise a monthly fee, but they conveniently forget to mention other fees like sign up fees, cost for overage faxes and toll free charges among others.

Quality of Customer Support - This factor is very important, because you may run into a problem someday and without a good customer support end up lost for hours. A good company will provide many ways to contact them and will respond to your inquiries fast and politely.

Online faxing services can help you get rid of your fax machine, reduce your costs and have more free space and less garbage. Take into account the factors we mentioned and you will find a great service for you.
