The various levels, at which the engineering courses are offered, are undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate level. Usually, for undergraduate courses, passing 10+2 with at least 50% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics is the main criterion for a student to be eligible to get admission in an engineering course. If one opts for a post-graduate course, i.e. M.E./M.Tech, it is essential for the candidate to have completed the bachelor’s degree, while it is essential to have accomplished post-graduation in a relevant subject for pursuing a doctoral course.
