The Renault Master Reviewed

This is a great van with so many different body options not to mention the lengths and sizes that are available. A solid model that can take all the hard work and even more than other vans it’s not going to let its buyers down. Everything used to make is is durable and strong and it seems only the best quality was good enough for the Renault master. With a huge amount of luggage space more then what most people need the Renault lives up to its name and with a range of diesel engine levels available it’s great. A combination of practicality and affordability what more could we ask for. When it comes to the interior it may not be as flashy as some other vans but it’s definitely one of the best in quality and durability. Even the standard models come fitted with a sat nav and some of the storage options include the width parcel shelf on top of the windscreen and the glove box and door compartments that are big enough to hold 1.5 litre drink bottles.

Phone holders and small bits here and there the spaciousness, roominess and usefulness of this van when it comes to luggage holding is ...
... almost unbeatable. The seats have been made relaxing even coming with an armrest so even those long boring drives are made easier with the high level of comfort. Though there is only one engine available there are three different output levels to it. The diesel engine is a 2.3 litre dci and comes with the option of 100bhp, 125bhp or 150 bhp. So you get to choose whatever suits you and your lifestyle best. The smallest engine is more than capable so as you can imagine the highest output option is brilliant. The 100bhp does have a bit of difficulty when you have the van loaded heavily so maybe it is not the best option if you tend to drive a long way with a heavy load. All three of these engines have a six speed gearbox that is manually functioning.

There is a gearshift indicator and this helps to achieve better fuel economy. There is the front wheel drive which will make up most of the sales but for those who have heavier storage needs the rear wheel is the best option. Though it’s very spacious and comfortable as well as affordable when it comes to being smooth, it’s not the best nor the worst. Those long drives may prove to be a bit uncomfortable on the bumpy roads. The latest model is a huge step forward in terms of quality and refinement over its predecessor. Long distance journeys are much more pleasant as the cabin is better quality and comfortable. The new Master engine is a 2.3 dCi engine which has been made specifically for the Master. It is very frugal as it gives 36.2 mpg from a 125PS engine. The sliding door is 17cm wider than the last model. The Renault Master has the lowest back sill heights. It has the practicality and comfort of a passenger car.
