An Overview Of The Land Rover Discovery 3

Strong, big, sturdy and absolutely gorgeous, this car is all business. The Land Rover Discovery 3 disappoints neither the on looker nor the driver. Every single aspect of this model is made of high quality top notch parts. It has a rugged exterior look with a square front design. It comes with very big alloy wheels and jewel shaped headlights. The exterior look all in all gives a very expensive feeling that would fit in perfectly everywhere whether in a high class car park or a forest in the middle of nowhere. The Land Rover is absolutely great and is extremely soothing for those who are looking to relax. The steering is very precise which means too much effort does not need to be made to control the vehicle on the road.

The very big style of this car makes it pass over the bumps and lumps with ease so you won't even feel it. The Discovery 3 comes with a 3.0 turbo diesel engine with a great 252bhp. This makes it have an amazing 0-60mph in 8.8seconds which is impressive when compared to other models of this style. It is an eight speed automatic car with a top speed of 112mph ...
... with good torque. The large size of this model means as soon as you sit inside you get a sense of security. More comforting the Discovery has also been graded with a 5 star Euro NCAP also coming with electric brake-force distribution and more than enough airbags. The Discovery 3 was rated 52nd in the driver survey of 2012.

The interior of this model is just as impressive as the exterior with a comfortably raised seat and a great cabin. The dashboard is extremely attractive being a mix of leather, plastics and wood. This comes with five cameras which is great for new drivers facing difficult parking scenarios. There is a lot of room in the Discovery for the passengers and the drivers making this comfortable for even the longest journeys and if you're looking to impress, then this really is for you.The model is fitted with different modes for when you are facing snow or sand making all the sports hits look like nothing. When you fold all the seats you are left with a huge amount of space.

The kerb-weight of the Discovery is about 2,500kg with a claimed 32.1mpg cost. The CO2 emissions are estimated at 230g/km which is reasonable for a car of this size and potential. The drive is smooth that it sometimes make the Physics' laws feel false. On the corners, the Disco just glides through and feels very composed on the bends. It returns a very smooth drive onm those long journeys on the motorway and thanks to the air suspensions the ride on the bumpy surfaces isn't bad at all. Land Rover has worked very hard to keep the engine , road and wind noise at bare minimum. All one can hear is a very low background hum. Even when it is stationary, there are no vibrations.
