Native and web application development are basically the technologies which are used to develop applications. Which technology is better is still a question in people’s mind. To find the answer it is important to go through the complete theory behind native and web app development.

Native Apps: The native apps are defined as the apps which have to be installed in the smartphone for use. They are designed for a specific operating system. It means these are not platform independent. These apps require the native languages for the development. The native apps development is considered as the most basic way to develop platform specific applications.

Web Apps: The apps developed by the use of web programming languages like HTML5, JavaScript, PHP, Dot Net and CSS or else are called the web apps. These apps do not require any installation in the user’s mobile device although as these are loaded from the web server. These apps are independent of platform and the device’s operating system. These can be run on any device having any platform with the capability to run the web.

Now, here are the benefits of Native ...
... apps over Web apps:

• Speed: The Native apps are faster in processing, reliable and more responsive than the Web apps.

• Platform Independency: The Web apps are not platform independent and can run on any platform or operating system but the Native apps are device specific and can run on particular platforms only but native apps have wider functionality and use all the features of a device.
• Shortcut: The Native apps make shortcut on the user’s screen unlike the web apps which can not.

• Mobile Hardware Usability: The Native apps can use the hardware for mobile handset like camera, Bluetooth etc but the Web apps cannot.

• Cost: Native apps require highly professional developers as it is very difficult, time consuming and an expensive development technology. On the other hand, the Web apps are very easy to build and require a less amount of expenditure on the development process.

• Behavior: Web apps are only capable of displaying the images and text because the devices like iPhone and iPad does not exhibit the flash player which makes it impossible to run videos live and online steaming.

All above points are brought to you by the experts to inform you about the better application development technology.

It is clear from the above points that the Native apps are much better than the web ones. So, next time you go for any app development technology, you know which one to go for.
