Why Pocket Wedding Invitations Are a Must For Any Wedding An elegant wedding invitation option that many people are beginning to use is pocket wedding invitations. A pocket wedding invitation is not as you may think, the idea is not to design the main invitation as being pocket size, but to be presented in a special fold or pocket folder making the invitation unique and very intricate. There are a few different options of pocket wedding invitations to choose from.

The simplest form of pocket wedding invitations is the portable pocket wedding invitation. This type is easy to mail and create, it involves a pocket which has been created using a simple fold over design and an insert which is the main invitation. The outside of the pocket usually has a design or the names of the people being married. The insert for the pocket will then usually contain the main details for the rest of the wedding including the venues and times as well as where to rsvp. The main advantage of the simple one pocket design is that it is much more cost effective to make and far cheaper to ship because the extra weight of a complex pocket or insert ...
... is not required. If you are interested in pocket wedding invitations this is a good place to begin.

The trifold is another option for pocket wedding invitations. This one is best if you wanted to include a photo or a lot of information along with your invitation because when folded there are three pockets that can include inserts. This is one of the most expensive and elaborate forms of pocket wedding invitations and can take extra time to actually stuff the inserts and mail out to people. Because of the extra weight of all of the paper it can usually cost more to ship a trifold wedding invitation. Using this form of invitation is really only needed should you have to include more information or a return card which will confirm a person is coming to the wedding. Although it can look good and be very fun and unique for a recipient to open each pocket to see what is inside, this option can be very expensive especially if you need to send out a lot of invitations.

For a good middle option there are Bi fold pocket Wedding invitations, which include a section for the invitation information and a second pocket for a return card or photograph to be included in the invitation. These can be made to have both the left and right sides as pockets or have the pockets on the same side. Usually these pocket wedding invitations can hold a good amount of information and inserts and keep shipping costs quite reasonable.

A pocket wedding invitation can create a unique flair for your personal wedding invitation. Quite often simple wedding invitations will fall flat and something as simple as having an invitation that creates interaction by allowing a recipient to open a pocket to see what inserts or surprises may lie inside, can really make your invitation stand out.
