Repair Pub1.edb File Post Dirty System Shutdown Error

Occasionally, you come across crisis using Microsoft® Exchange server, wherein there is storage of Exchange mailbox data. The Exchange server, though versatile in nature has chances of getting corrupt which makes it important to repair corrupt EDB file. Most often you find that Exchange mailbox carrying storage group fails to mount. This behaviour is considered abnormal termination of Information Store service which resultantly put database to the state of dirty shut down. After this problem, you fail in all your attempts to access EDB file data like messages, addresses, appointments, tasks, journals, and other mailbox data.

Exchange database loss due to dirty shutdown issue:
When Exchange database is facing ‘dirty shutdown’ state, this indicates that Exchange database have been corrupted and you no more would be able to access data stored in EDB files. The event of Exchange dirty shutdown, cause an error message after running 'Eseutil /k'

Work around the problem:
To properly work around this issue, you need to first of all stop Information Store service and take back up of data in various disks. It is important here to have sufficient free disk space available. Then hire some external software solution that can repair EDB file. There is long list of Tools available to repair pub1.edb file, but you are required to choose the extensively used outside tool for this purpose.

When other solutions come to an end and bring no useful or required results then the workable solution would be professional software tool.
