A figurine or small figure is a statuette that represents a human being, deity or animal. Earlier figurines were made of stone or clay. Nowadays they are made of ceramic, metal, glass, wood and plastic. Figures with movable parts, are called dolls or mannequins, and robots or automata, if they can move on their own.
