Mixed pickles are finger licking good! They add a flavour to our cuisine and make our food taste unique and different and are available in different varieties. They are made from a variety of fruits and vegetable. Each of the ingredients adds a special taste to the pickle. The mixed pickles are way off from the clichéd pickles we get to taste regularly. · European Pickles: - They use egg, mussels, walnuts, etc. for making pickles using vinegar as a pickling agent. Italy is known for their eggplant and hot pepper pickles.

· American Pickles: - Many varieties of pickles ranging from carrots, onions, cauliflowers to eggs, beef and other meat etc. are available in North and South America. Red beet eggs and chow-chow are specialty pickles of Pennsylvania.

· They have a low pH that prevents bacterial growth.

· Mainly used by travellers for a long journey due to its longer shelf life.

· Some pickles made of ginger, garlic, lime, etc. promotes digestion of food.
