Including proper food in your Diet helps maintaining the healthier gums and teeth and prevents cavities and decay. Plan a healthy Diet that includes foods rich in vitamins , proteins, unsaturated fats .
Calcium for your Healthy Diet
Milk is the major source for Calcium, it builds strong bones and teeth, Calcium plays a prominent role through out the life time from childhood to teens upto the age of receiving wisdom tooth. A Diet rich in calcium can prevent Tooth decay , Dietry food that lacks calcium drains all the Calcium from teeth and bones leading to cavities and tooth decay. A survey recommends a regular intake of 500 mg of Calcium each day, ignoring which might lead to Severe Periodontal or gum disease.
Jawbone is usually susceptible to the effects of low calcium. it might loose its strength and pose you a risk of Gum Disease.

gingivitis is the simplest form of Periodontal disease which causes the gums to bleed and swell. So, practice eating atleast one fruit containing Citrus everyday to avoid these Dental Sickness.

Apples, pears and carrots are helpfull in many ways. The texture of these fruits help to wipe away any stains and Bacteria on your teeth . Also these fruits help chewing mechanism and produces a lot of saliva to neutralize the food particles.

Drinking a lot of water can rinse away both bacteria and residues of food particles that causes plaque formation. Water rich in fluoride would be preferred.
Avoid eating junk foods like gummy candies, sugary snacks . without worrying about what you eat , practice the habit of regular brushing and flossing to avoid germs causing plaque and decay.
