Making a traditional Italian pasta recipe can seem to be quite a challenging task. Knowing how to make pasta however isn’t that hard at all! The best part about this pasta recipe is that you can team it up with any sauce of your choice and enjoy!

Ingredients:

• 400 grams of flour
• 4 eggs

Directions:

1. Sift the flour into a smooth, separated consistency for the pasta recipe.

2. Pour the flour in a pile and create a hole in the middle. Break the eggs and pour them in the middle.

3. Beat the eggs and the flour and keep adding more and more flour, slowly from around the mixture that you have.

4. Do this until you have smooth dough for the pasta recipe and you can add a few drops white wine for extra flavour if need be.

5. Once you have mixed the flour and egg, use your hands to knead the dough for around 15 minutes till it is smooth and elastic.

6. Keep the dough in a dish and refrigerate it for around half an hour. Your pasta recipe is almost done!

7. After half an hour, remove the dough and divide into ...
... medium sized balls. Lightly flour a flat surface and a rolling pin. Roll out the dough for the pasta recipe, making it as thin as possible.

8. Once you have the desired thickness, roll the dough into one long strip. It should be like a spiral, with the thin dough rolled into each other.

9. Cut the strip of dough into thin slices, around quarter of a centimetre.

10. Now, carefully unroll each slice so you flat strips of long pasta. Lay them on a floured flat surface making sure that it doesn’t touch each other. Separated strands mean your pasta recipe is going to turn out to be just right.

11. Sprinkle a little bit of flour on top of all the strands and allow them to dry for around two hours.

12. Whenever you want to try out with a new sauce for your homemade pasta recipe, cook your noodles in salted, boiling water for around four minutes.

13. Drain the noodle and serve it with your sauce of choice! Your pasta recipe is ready!

Knowing how to make pasta is quite easy, isn’t it? Traditional Italian pasta recipes call for homemade pasta. Enjoy the yummy goodness now and try it out!
