When we think about photography it takes us decades and centuries behind. After a century when photography became a well known fact, the specializes and experts took in charge of photography in a more professional way. However, in the recent trends photography is not actually done by professionals to capture good pictures, thanks to the digital camera that has helped to click pictures by ourselves and that too with a professional effect. Initially photography started in 1820s which was the period when the first photographs were permanently captured which was possible because of scientific advancements.

Scientist-Albertus Magnus and Georges Fabricius in the 13th and 16th century discovered silver chloride and silver nitrates respectively that were responsive to light. In the present period, silver chlorate is used to make photographic paper as it is sensitive to photons and shows a concealed image initially and after photo reduction the actual film is developed.

In the year 1825, a French inventor, Nicephore Niepce, invented the first photograph, an image was clicked in ancient adaptation of camera, which was ...
... a long and a tough procedure and took around eight hours of exposure to direct sunlight, to get a true picture. Later on, the silver compounds, like those invented by Magnus and Fabricus, were used by Niepce along with the experiment of Johann Heinrich Schultz, in 1972, which proved that a amalgamation of chalk and silver compounds become darker on exposure to sunlight which helped Niepce to succeed in his discovery of photography. This discovery has led to a flourishing photography which is being carried on till date.

Louis Daguerre and Niepce worked together and developed the photo reduction process in the year 1883, after which Niepce died of a major heart attack leaving the whole work on Daguerre's shoulders who further made two major inventions in the field of photography called Daguerreotype. Similar to daguerreotype, in 1832 a French-Brazilian painter along with the great inventor Hercules Florence came out with Photographie, now popularlwell known as Photography. This is mostly like Polaroid photos that are used today.

In the year 1840, Fox Talbot took a major leap and developed photography which was further polished by an astronomer, John Hershel. Then came George Eastman who advanced Talbot's innovation and development, George Eastman's expansion is used in today's chemical cameras'. Hippolyte Bayard also had a chief involvement in rising photography, but because of his late announcement does not share the credit to photography.

The daguerreotype gathered a lot of recognition in the whole industrial revolution, as the people asked photographs for themselves. Photographs became greatly popular and most demanded, but due to the limitation of daguerreotype like these photos were hard to copy and were very delicate, George Eastman helped it out, in 1884, by using dry gel on paper. This became a convenient and affordable way of photography. In the year 1888, Kodak camera came in the market which was released by Eastman with the slogan “You push the button, we do the rest”. This was a chief progress which attracted the whole market, and with Kodak Brownie, in 1909, just a layman could click pictures for you. Presently, the recent discoveries has familiarized digital photography, but now what you enjoy the most of photography, which is the sincere efforts and hard work of intelligent scientists in the past.
