Some of the highlights of the attraction this month include birds such as the bittern, which belong to the heron family, the black-tailed godwit and the shoveler.

If you are heading down this month, you may very well get a chance to hear the springtime melody of the songbird thrush, blackbird and robin, to name but a few.

The number of species has also increased this month, with over 100 birds regularly using the wader scrape. In addition to the animals, visitors will also get a chance to see the first crop of springtime flowers such as the snowdrop, daffodil, blackthorns and cowslips.
