Android application development is the process of building mobile applications which are suitable for Android platform. The Android application developer is the one who builds these applications. • Android emulator: It is an emulation tool which helps in designing and testing the project in Android run time environment.

• ProGuard: It removes the unused codes, renames classes and fields and optimizes your code.

• Layoutopt: It quickly analyzes the layout and optimizes them for increasing the efficiency.
