Between styling and coloring, hair will go through a great stress. Over time hair may become damaged and begin to break, feel dry, or look dull and lifeless. Damaged hair could be caused by a number of things including poor diet, overuse of hot styling tools, and chemical treatments.
In most cases, damaged hair is not permanent and could be reversed. Treating dry and damaged hair can be relatively easy once the proper hair care products are used.
Trimming the split ends off hair will prevent them from continuing to split upwards, causing more damage. This hair care step is often neglected until the locks are so damaged that a stylist has no alternative choice than to cut it into a short haircut. It would be much easier and less traumatic to just obtain a regular trim every 6 - 8 weeks.
Healthy hair is frequently not dry or damaged
When hair is dry and damaged, it's usually an indication that something is missing. Sometimes treating damaged hair often means just adding several key nutrients that have been without your diet. Biotin, Vitamin b complex, Niacin, and Proteins are important nourishment needed ...
... for healthy hair growth.
Without a daily dose of these ingredients, hair can grow out slow and brittle. Most foods do not contain nearly an adequate amount of these important nourishment. Hair supplements are an easy way to make sure that your body is getting an adequate amount of the required vitamins and proteins needed for healthier hair growth. Water is also very important for making sure hair stays moisturized. Drinking 6 - 8 portions of water each day is usually recommended.
There are also certain items that can be good for damaged hair. Moisturizing shampoos, leave-in conditioners, and split end repair serums nourish and seal hair cuticles, protecting them from further breakage. Using thermal protectant sprays before blow drying or straightening hair may also shield it in the damaging effects of hot styling tools. Shampoos and conditioners for color treated hair are specifically good to use following a recent coloring and can leave hair looking sleek and healthy.
To cover up your damage hair you can use human hair weave or wigs as they offer quick solution to your damaged hair.
