I’ve got a confession to make. I’m a bit of a DIY addict. As I put the finishing touches to one project I’m already plotting my next. My latest project involved decking in the garden and my collection of Screws and Fasteners came in handy for this scheme, in particular I got through a fair quantity of Woodscrews. I always keep a wide selection of Screws and Fasteners handy because you never know when they’ll be required. I’ve lost count of the amount of selves I’ve put up using Screws and Fasteners they’re an essential component of any DIY tool kit. I’m pretty fussy about my Screws and Fasteners though and I won’t buy them from any old store.
Why is that?
I’ve been let down by poor quality Screws and Fasteners in the past, I can remember having problems Woodscrews in particular because I tried to save money by buying a budget brand. I still try to keep my eyes open for a bargain of course, but I’m not prepared to sacrifice quality over price when using Screws and Fasteners for different types of projects. What types of Screws and Fasteners do I buy?
My latest project in the garden required the use of slotted Woodscrews and I now have a tasteful timber decked area at the foot of my lawn where I can enjoy the best of the summer sun (if it ever arrives!). In general though I like to keep a decent stash of Screws and Fasteners in my shed and they can vary from brass woodscrews, to wall plugs and screw caps and cap covers. I’m always adding to my collection of Screws and Fasteners to cover all types of eventualities. When I start new DIY projects I’m always confident that I have appropriate Screws and Fasteners available, it’d be pretty pointless attempting jobs around the home without them.
