Pursuing Engineering From Delhi Colleges

Students wanting to pursue engineering target a few reputed names in the country. Some of the best engineering colleges in delhi also feature amongst the top colleges in India for pursuing engineering. Securing a B Tech Admissions amongst the top engineering colleges of the region is a dream for many aspiring students. With only a limited number of seats offered every year, the number of students applying for such colleges almost being manifold, it is one of the most challenging tasks for students to get into the reputed engineering colleges. Besides these, students can also apply for B Tech Admissions to Universities like Jamia and Indraprastha in Delhi. These universities may not be of the stature of IIT’s or NSIT but have gradually gained reputation over time.

B Tech Admissions are often tough times for students as well as their parents. While IIT’s conduct an entrance exam for admission to one of the six IIT’s in the country, which is given by lakhs of engineering aspirants every year, DCE and NSIT have separate entrance exam for B tech admissions. On the other hand, other students wanting to pursue engineering through some of the other colleges have to give an All India level entrance exam called the All India Engineering Entrance Exam. A good ranking in this exam can ensure a guaranteed seat to a student in one of the National Institute’s of Technology, government colleges located in various parts of the country.

These colleges also offer students with a variety of options regarding the streams one can choose. From conventional options of Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering to unorthodox and emerging fields such as Marine and Robotics are the courses offered in the prestigious engineering colleges of Delhi.

After completing engineering from one of the colleges from Delhi, one can either look for job opportunities in Gurgaon or Noida, which are considered to be the job hubs in the country. The placement in these colleges is at par with the best in the country and the starting package of some of the students is as good a management professional. Students can also look to pursue M Tech or study abroad after successful completion of engineering degree from a good college in Delhi.
