Six sigma green belt works under the six sigma black belt's operation which analyses the problems involved in projects of quality improvement and then solves them. DMADV has the following phases;

* Identifying and measuring the product capabilities and the risks involved.

* Analyze to design and develop alternatives.

* Designing an alternative that is best suited in the analysis of the previous step.

* Verification of the design, it's implementation and handing it over to the owner

Six Sigma has the following roles in implementation

It involves in the professionalizing of administrative functions that are of high quality. These programs are ranked according to terminologies which cut across all functions of the business. Its leadership includes members at the top for example the CEO. They set up visions to be implemented at the same time empowering other stake holders to achieve a break through to make improvements.

Champions have a responsibility of implementing an incorporated manner around the organization.

Master black belts; these are identified by champions. They spend most of their time with six sigma helping the champions and guiding green belts and black belts. They also ensure consistency in the application of Six Sigma in various functions.

* Black belts; these apply the methods of Six Sigma to particular projects.

* Green belts; these take up the implementation of the methods of Six Sigma green belt training while at the same time doing their jobs under the black belts' guidance.

Six Sigma also have programs offering university certificates and they take four years in universities and colleges providing the same courses from black belt to green belt.

All in all, Six Sigma has criticisms for example, instead of registering long term performances, it registers short ones.
