Pakistan is country that has come a long way, surviving devastating earthquakes that almost crumbled her economic and physical structures. If you travel to Pakistan, you will discover a friendly and beautiful country proud of her heritage. Pakistan is situated in the western part of the Indian subcontinent with Afghanistan and Iran on the west, India on the east, and the Arabian Sea on the south. Urdu and English are the official languages in Pakistan and there are other languages like Punjabi, Pushto, Sindhi and Baluchi. The Karakorum Highway is referred to as the highest road in the world and it winds through the Karakorum mountain range connecting to China through the Khunjerab Pass. Technically, it's the only way to the tourist attractions of the Northern Areas.

Karimabad is located in the lush Hunza Valley and is a tourist oasis. The streets are crammed with shops selling local handicrafts such as shawls and carpets along with local dried fruits, antiques and gem stones. Another exhilarating place is the Shalimar Gardens and Emperor Jahangir's Mausoleum. Failing to visit this place is like visiting Rome without seeing the Colosseum. The Mohotta Place is an authentic museum which carries temporary collections. The structure is built in Hindu-British style and is made of pink stone that gives it a distinctive style.

The Mausoleum of Jinnah is a famous landmark in Karachi. It is an iconic symbol of Karachi and is situated in the heart of the city. It is made up of white marble with curved Moorish arches. The cool inner sactum reflects the green of a four-tiered crystal chandelier given by the people of China. The glowing tomb can be seen from miles at night. The Jehangir Kothari Parade is a place dedicated to the public and is a beautiful example of colonial architecture.

Moenjodero was considered one of the most spectacular cities of the ancient times. It is located 350 kilometers off Karachi. Walk along the remains of this old city and witness the way of life the Pakistani lived long ago. Ansoo Lake is a famous teardrop-shaped lake in Pakistan found in Kaghan Valley in the Himalayan Range. Karachi is also a busy urban area that hosts a number of museums, shops, islands, clubs, beachfronts, colonial buildings, amusement parks and more.

Despite the underdeveloped state of the Pakistani Tourist industry, the country has some of the stunning landscapes and places in the world.
