Located in East Africa, Uganda borders the most vibrant East African nation Kenya to the east and other countries like Tanzania, Sudan and Congo. The geographical scenery of Uganda is a marvel constituting of picturesque mountains, hills, lakes and wildlife filled plains. This country also prides in a diverse cultural heritage.

In Uganda, you will have ample accommodation around the major cities like Kampala and Entebbe in form of luxurious hotels. In the capital Kampala are many of these hotels that are only 40 kilometres from the country's main airport, the Kampala International airport. Beach hotels are also available in Entebbe while all game parks and game reserves have strategic lodges. Another accommodation option in Uganda is the apartments and guest houses while cottages, inns, hostels and campsites are also in plenty depending on your preference.

Dining in Uganda will also be hustle free. Traditional African dishes are available especially matoke (green bananas), Uganda's staple food. There is also a wide range of restaurants offering all kinds of cuisine from Chinese to American, Italian, Indian and a host of others. Ugandan cities have a bubbly night life too and you can hop into some of the lively clubs for an exciting evening.

Being a landlocked country, Uganda carries out most of its sea operations from the Kenyan Coast. At the same time, some tourists prefer to fly into Kenya and then connect to Uganda because it is much cheaper. Getting around Uganda is facilitated by public transport, taxis and car hire from tourist agents which always seems to be the best option.
