Located in East Africa, Uganda borders the most vibrant East African nation Kenya to the east and other countries like Tanzania, Sudan and Congo. Another accommodation option in Uganda is the apartments and guest houses while cottages, inns, hostels and campsites are also in plenty depending on your preference.
Dining in Uganda will also be hustle free. Traditional African dishes are available especially matoke (green bananas), Uganda's staple food. There is also a wide range of restaurants offering all kinds of cuisine from Chinese to American, Italian, Indian and a host of others. Ugandan cities have a bubbly night life too and you can hop into some of the lively clubs for an exciting evening.
Being a landlocked country, Uganda carries out most of its sea operations from the Kenyan Coast. At the same time, some tourists prefer to fly into Kenya and then connect to Uganda because it is much cheaper. Getting around Uganda is facilitated by public transport, taxis and car hire from tourist agents which always seems to be the best option.
