Especially at the site, where fire has wreaked havoc in a building, you see firemen mounted on the top of this mechanical device, while they make every effort to reach the trapped victims through the windows and salvage endangered lives. Yes, this is Aerial work platform; a wonderful mechanized device that has saved hundreds of thousands of lives at the time of disasters. This is also known by the name aerial device or elevating work platform. This device is immensely helpful in reaching the inaccessible spots, especially situated at higher heights. • In another application, it is also fitted on bigger sign trucks to perform more complex operations. For instance, when you need to go up, while executing some difficult construction works at higher altitudes, you can comfortably engage its service in a sign truck.

• There are tasks that can be carried out on a Crane truck, while this device is mounted on it. This is most applicable with carrying fire fighting device. It is because when the building is taller, this is helpful in reaching various inaccessible parts.

• A truck crane is really helpful as a mobile base for this equipment that makes its operations easy especially on the complex construction and demolition jobs, done at higher altitudes.

• Another application is called “Hotel Lift”. This gets executed only by joining different mechanical parts with it like rack, pinion or screw threads. The joints are put together to achieve a movement, usually in a vertical direction.
