When we look back into the medieval times, we find a lot of things that exhibit excellence and wisdom. The most significant elements of these times were the weapons and armor used by the knights belonging to different nations and cultures. Many of these weapons used by kings and emperors of the ancient times are still treasured and their replicas are produced for those who show interest in collecting things of historical importance.

Wars were an imperative part of the culture. Every war had a significant reason behind it, whether it was glory or revenge. Every emperor tried to source the best arsenal to his army so that they can defend their side in case the enemy side announces a sudden attack. The essence of the medieval armor and weapons lies in their extraordinary design and handling techniques. The army possessed both types of weapons i.e. for attacking the enemy side and for defending their side from the strikes. The weapons meant for attacking included swords and axes while the defending weapons included shields, body suits and chainmail armor. Some cultures such as Greek and Roman empires gave more priority to ...
... the body suits and shields which every soldier and knight had to wear before entering the war field. These cultures are still believed to be the possessors of the best weapons and armor.

In addition to the quality of the armor, the Greek and Roman kings were also renowned for their battle skills and style statement. Their army was just unstoppable when it came to fighting for their reign. This era gave birth to a number of heroes and kings possessing their own gallant battle skills and supreme war strategies. Each one among the soldiers was completely trained and able to protect his life. The kings got their own leisure time to practice their war skills and thus were the best performers in the warfare. This was the time of the rule of emperors and there was nothing termed as democracy.

Gradually, the common man also trained himself for war skills and became equally proficient in these skills to be able to protect himself and his family. This was the inception of a new era of democracy. With the commencement of this new culture, the Greek flourished and became more prosperous. This new era brought a number of constructive changes into the Greek society. However, due to the many pitfalls present in the culture itself, the Greeks were eventually conquered by the Romans. The main reason behind it was found to be the novel and more adaptable battle formations of the Romans that went over the rigid Greek ammunitions; though the influential Greek weapons and armor were also incorporated into the Roman culture later on.

Though these fancy weapons are not manufactured nowadays, the antique collection enthusiasts can collect their replicas from various online stores. These replicas appear exactly like the original weapons and no visible difference can be figured out.
