1. Hotel Majapahit (Indonesia): Majapahit is a grand old dame of Dutch colonial splendor, located in the 2nd largest city of Indonesia, Surabaya. The hotel boasts a total of 20 floors, with a whopping total of 456 rooms that offers the largest guest rooms in Seoul, all lavishly furnished.

6. Mandarin Oriental (Bangkok): Opened in 1876, the Mandarin Oriental boasts to be the oldest and most luxurious hotel in Bangkok. Originally called the Oriental Hotel, it introduced features never before known outside a royal palace.

7. Glenburn Tea Estate (India): Glrnburn is a tea estate that is run by the Prakash family. The property was built in 1860 and has 4 guest rooms with open fires, plantation style furnishings and antiques, and old fashioned bathtubs. It is one of the best hotels in India. You may go for a tour to the vast expanses of tea field or go rafting to enjoy your stay.

8. Windamere Hotel (India): Located in Darjeeling in the state of West Bengal, India, Windamere is one of the best colonial hotels in India. This Indian hotel was started in the 1930s as a boarding house for bachelor British tea planters in the 'British India'. The hotel gives magnificent views of the mount Kanchenjunga and the tea plantations below.
