The job involves construction, schematics, irrigation, planting, drainage, grading and fuel modification. All these jobs involve licensing and only a certified and licensed architect can undertake them. This job is similar to that of a building architect in that you will have to coordinate between various services and deal with various contractors and workers.

Another option is that of becoming a consulting architect. In this case, you are only responsible for the actual design and the implementation stages are handled by someone else. The beauty of an architect’s job lies in the fact that there are so many options to choose from. Once you have acquired your college degree, you can decide where you would like to complete your internship. Some firms specialize in certain fields while others offer more varied services. If you prefer a job that will involve plants and greens and you wish not be stuck within the confines of four walls, opt for a career as a landscape architect and set your creativity free.
