1. Know your skills - River rafting can be great fun. Avoid tight restricting clothing like jeans that will hamper your free movement as you raft. Athletic pants are good for white water rafting. Avoid wearing heavy accessories.
5. Research your Route – Before you head out on a rafting adventure, spend some time studying the route you plan to take. Researching the stretch of the river you plan to raft down will better prepare yourself and ensure you are not caught off guard.
6. Travel light – Include a few T-shirts that always come in very handy. It is important to carry a first aid kit. White water rafting should be done on a light stomach. Undertaking it after a heavy meal might lead to vomiting .
