Honda Jazz Is Versatile And Practical With Choice Of Honda Jazz Engine

If you are looking for a practical and versatile car then look no further. The Honda is one of the best in practicality. First appearing on the UK market in 1982 the Honda Jazz was a small hatchback which though not bad wasn’t the best. In 2002 it received quite a lot of criticism as it seemed to have kept all the old styling albeit with new equipment. Honda seemed to want to keep their old style and just changed the exterior look a little to attract the younger market more. There are only two Engines available. The first is the 1.2 litre with two trim levels to choose from and an automatic gearbox. Then there is the 1.4 litre petrol that displaces only 1339cc which also has an option of two trim levels.

Honda have left out an eco diesel engine and considering that the rivals all offer it , this choice done no favors to the Honda status. It is seen as a small expensive car and though it misses out on a few things it is best known for reliability and is perfect if you want something simple and strong ...
... with a touch of style. When it comes to design, this is where Honda has impressed the market. They have placed the engine under the front seats meaning luggage space is maximized without the car looking hideously big or even too big. This is something that not many cars manage to offer. The seats can be folded and many things in the car can be adjusted to make the overall space more. Putting the back seats down would even give you a small van. The flexibility of the interior is very credible.

There is a more angular design and a raised bonnet then before and it shows that the designer of the European Civic and this Honda are one. The fact that it is longer and wider without a height increase makes it much more pleasing to the eye and a lot less ox looking, also a lot less boring. Looking at the interior of the latest Jazz is impressive for anyone who saw the last version. The whole interior now seems to have personality and imagination. With a swooping dashboard style and chunky well placed controls it’s a big improvement. Not to flashy and not to boring Honda has done pretty well with the interior.

The interior quality is top notch although more hardwearing then luxurious. The Jazz’s main strength is its flexible and intuitive interior. The boot is 399 litres strong enough to carry variety of different loads. The boot size is also bigger than most family hatchbacks. Folding the rear seats is not difficult and takes just pulling of a lever. The roof is high enough for even the tallest of passengers. Other than Toyota Verso-s and Nissan Note,, very few can match it for being spacious. It has five star Euro NCAP test rating for having six airbags and Isofix. The interior is practical, superbly reliable and very practical.
