How great it would feel if you’ve a window next to your bed! A large open window not only livens up a room, but also exposes the room with natural light and air. Every morning you’ll wake up to the chirpings of the birds outside your window. So, if you’re building a new home, do plan a window for your bedroom.

Did you ever think the amount of time we spend in our bedrooms? Well, almost one-third of our lifetime! Yes, you read it right. So, it’s very important that you plan your bedroom layout with utmost care. An interior decorator or designer can help you out in this. Having a window in the room is also something that is considered auspicious in Shri Vaastu Shastra, and Feng Shui.

Try to unclutter the room as much as possible; to begin with, you can get rid of all those pairs of shoes you wore and tore, and then, put in the closet. Throw away the bedsheets you bought years ago, used for years, and then put inside the bed. It’s also perhaps the best time to paint the walls of your bedroom with some fresh colors. Use dark colors if you like dark colors; use light colors if you like light colors; it’s ...
... your bedroom, so you better decide the colors.

I also find usage of natural walnut veneer a great idea if you’ve plans to change the very look and feel of the room. Walnut veneer is truly a treat to eyes when used on surfaces in bedrooms. Make sure you pick the wall colors, which match well with the surfaces decorated with the natural walnut veneer. Be it your bed, bedside table, your recliner or any other surface, veneers have the potential to brighten-up every surface possible.

It’s not that you’ve no other option but walnut veneer for your bedroom makeover; it’s just that it looks great on surfaces. This veneer replicates the true beauty of walnut wood. Besides walnut, you’ve Mahogany, Ebony, Maple and hundreds of other veneers to choose from. Choose what looks like the best for your surfaces. But, there is one thing that’s very important: always buy from a brand you can trust upon. And, get familiar with the dos and don’ts when you’re decorating your bedroom surfaces with natural decorative veneer sheets. Remember, veneer wood sheets are thin shavings of expensive woods, and used extensively as a great yet economical surfacing solution. So, if you’re the person who wants to do this makeover at a tight budget, do it with veneers.
