The part is important in the injection molding field and this plate has got enough strength to take the pressure of the plastic liquid that is formed inside the mold. The thickness of the plate is around 50mm and the design is made such that the thermal expansion and the heating power of the plate are taken into consideration before the design is decided. This plate is mainly used to keep the plastic in molten state inside the mold.
