The Ritual Of Qurbani And Its Relation With Islamic Charity

Qurbani or Udhiyyah, as equivalent in the Islamic religion, is the sacrifice of livestock every year in the month of Dhul Hijjah which etymologically echoes the compliance of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his own son for the sake of God.
