The job of public relations agency is to show the corporation`s name, services or products in a constructive and legit manner light to the public. Due to the image-constructing and brand-building benefits of PR, It is being utilized everywhere and by each and every big corporation nowadays. However, with varying trends and the advent of online promotion or marketing, the method of doing PR has changed completely in the last few decades.

However, when the idea of online marketing or promotion was first conceptualized around a decade back, very few firms believed in it. Though after a decade, same companies, who believed in it, got remarkable success. However, the issue is that it's tough to do so because these sites tend to forbid deliberate promotions by a person, or a company, which is a demerit in itself.

In addition, the procedure of doing PR on the online social sites is quite different from what actually people think. Instead of directly marketing, one needs to attract the users to do it for you and that's where Internet savvy pr consultants factor comes in to play and gives an edge over the competitors in this cutthroat competition.
