This ensures not only quicker recovery after the surgery but also better results post surgery. Let us look at the standard procedure to prepare for a face lift surgery.

First and foremost, nicotine is one of the most harmful substances for the skin. It not only tires the skin on an instant basis but also stresses it out on a long term basis. That is why one of the most important preparatory steps before a Face Lift is quitting smoking completely. It is advisable to stay away from smoking at least two months in advance. In case you are into rave parties and drugs, it is advisable to avoid ...
... them as well. In fact a drug free lifestyle should be maintained a couple of months in advance.

Studies have shown that aspirin tends to thin the blood and therefore it is advisable that you give up on these a few days in advance. In case you have a problem of high pressure, get the situation rectified urgently. High pressure is a deterrent to any kind of surgery. As far as Face Lifts are concerned, it leads to heavier bruising. Even hypertension is detrimental to such surgeries. Apart from the physical aspects, make sure you have taken care of your material needs as well. Get a couple of front button shirts and sessions of hair dyes well in advance. Most importantly build up your confidence levels to carry your younger look with flair.
