Under Jamshed’s leadership, Muslim Charity has evolved as a significant organization. It has expanded itself to about 17 countries since 2003. They are motivated with their faith in Islam, like all muslim charities. Muslim Charity claims to work for all the citizens of the world irrespective of race, religion or gender.

The organization was established with the primary objective of eliminating poverty from Muslim communities around the world. They primarily focus on Pakistan and then to the rest of the countries. Their team is highly proactive and provides emergency aids to thousands of people needing help. Muslim Charity has provided assistance following natural disasters such as the Indian Ocean earthquake in 2004, Pakistan earthquake in 2005, etc. On their website, they keep appealing people for donations and volunteers. There have made appeals of help for Burma crisis, Gaza crisis, Syria and East Africa crisis. They also run housing schemes, safe water projects and provide free medical aid to the poor.

In the beginning of January, the NGFO has initiated charity dinners with Junaid Jamshed all over the world to raise funds for its causes. They have special projects for women, children, expecting mothers, disableds and elderly people.
