After the snow and floods that we experienced throughout January, the majority of us will be extremely glad that our cars made it through. However, whilst some cars can deal with the wet, icy or snowy weather, others can struggle, leaving individuals stranded in the snow, stalling when there are floods and constantly struggling to clear their windscreen when it is cold outside.

And yet, with the worst of the weather seemingly behind us, many of us will forget how problematic our cars were over the winter and carry on using them for another year until winter rolls around once more and they experience the same problems all over again.

As such, with the problems of winter still fresh in our minds, it is very much the best time to get rid of such problematic cars and to test drive replacements whilst the weather is still not at its best. By test driving potential replacements in the cold, you will instantly have an idea as to whether such a car is going to be better for the winter than your current vehicle, allowing you far more peace of mind when paying out for such a car.
