The Tiger Temple in beautiful Thailand is situated close to the Thai-Burmese border. It is almost a 2.5 hour drive from Bangkok city and is one of the major highlights of Thailand tourism. You need to hire a driver and make sure you avail a good car. As the entire journey covers about 5 hours during back and forth, it is necessary for you to choose a comfortable ride. Several college students belonging to diverse nationalities act as volunteers and so, you do not have to bother regarding any language barriers once you gain entry into this famous animal sanctuary cum monastery. Some of the animals you will get to view in this destination include wild deer, boars, peacocks, horses. All these animals roam about freely here but the prime attraction happens to be the large cats, both in adult and young form.
