Everyone today has heard of outsourcing jobs and freelancers. They have become greatly common & many companies today look for people to outsource work to. There are many debates that are going on among many countries if this outsourcing law should be changed or revised. Have you ever wondered, what is the main reason for companies to look for freelancers and not get work done from in-house employees?
Well, the most important reason why companies hire people offsite or freelancers to carry out some processes and projects is to save money and increase revenue for their company. But does this actually work? Well, yes there are times when freelancing also, could be expensive depending on the nature and complexity of the project. Also, one must make sure that they are hiring the right freelancer for carrying out the project. They make a huge profit by saving up on in-house office space, benefits and compensations for employees. All these factors add up in favor of these companies to save up money while outsourcing.
On the other hand, many outsourcing jobs help freelancers to work from a remote location or their home at a low cost. It helps and has encouraged the work from home culture in India. Many people are now opting for these jobs and are doing pretty well at them. However, freelancing also, depends on the nature your work and if people and companies are outsourcing in your particular field. It is possible that there is no demand for freelancers in your work industry. So, freelancing can be an advantage and disadvantage. It is not necessary that your business or services will be appreciated and flourishes.
Therefore, outsourcing jobs are more of a boon than that of a liability for both a company and individual.
