Exam Fever - Six Tips To Make The Kids Understand About Exams?

And the day came when finally Mrs. Kidman was handed over a circular from the school. It was the examination schedule for the last term of her grade two Ben. Ben was just not bothered to look what is in there when he handed the circular to his all rounder MOM. But Mrs. Kidman was too serious about it and was reading through the date schedule as per the subject and the relevant syllabus. Ben was a student of one of the finest junior Belmont schools, where the teaching was more logic based rather than exerting the fact that ‘grades are enough’. Still Mrs. Kidman was worried as she knew how difficult is for her to keep a track with her 7 years old ben.How difficult it is to make him sit and study, how impossible sometimes it looks to bring him back to learning from his mischievous moods.
She in fact shares a common problem with almost many mums in whole world known as dealing with the stress of their kid’s exams. Although the older the kids grow they get a certain understanding of why exams and what they are for. But how is it possible to make a 7 year boy understand the same things?

Are studies important? Make them understand by giving life examples. Make them understand then listen what they understood.
Get into the positive language of communication.
Be gentle but firm.
Help them revise in daily basis this would give them less pressure for exams.
Don’t be stressed yourself to put the same impression on child. Instead work on alleviating your stress factors first.
