Classic movie are the ones’ that were made in the Hollywood Studio System period. Classics, over the years have stirred every emotion of the viewers from then till now.
Under the Hollywood studio system the actors and actresses worked under a contract with particular studios, which attached them to its team until the contract expired.
A classic chokes us with laughter, makes us shed uncountable tears, or go nostalgic with far-fetched reminiscence every time we watch it. It touches the strings of our heart in the finest and the most memorable ways.
The release of The Jazz Singer in 1927 marked the foundation of classic movie theater. The classics have a clear-cut beginning, middle and end. This period is also called the “Golden Age” by some film historians.

Classic movies are evergreen and leave an impact on the watcher as an individual and on the society as a whole which makes all and sundry want to watch it repeatedly. These movies are extraordinary and remarkable and travel with time from one generation to the other.

A classic focuses on the expressions, character and psychological influences in complete contrast to the latest movies which focus only on artificial computerized effects and trifling production.

Casablanca is considered to be an epic example of the classic production that came out of the classicism era of the American cinema. Gone with the Wind, The Philadelphia Story, Roman Holiday, and the God Father are some other great classics of that period.
A classic film never dates and withstands the test of time unlike the movies based on paltry subject matter which are never looked back at once the theater exit is traversed. The classicist producers had no access to the 3D and other visual effects available to the film makes or the twentieth century, and still made movies that are till date not pass.
To watch classic movies is an extravagance, it appeals to the emotional and psychological attributes of a human being and makes a connect with the audience as every one finds themselves relating to what is being projected in ways more than one.
