Black/green Stock
The TRG rifle is built to meet different needs of users, and suit their individual style, approach and purpose. Its optional folding stock is available in green or black color. The robust stock is made keeping in mind both the left and right handed shooters.
A rear folding stock that can be adjusted for cast off/on and height and includes a cheekpiece which can not only be adjusted vertically with spacers but also laterally. The spacers can be used to adjust the butt plate for angle and distance or it can be easily adjusted in pitch and height.
The fore-stock has an integral slot for quick dismounting/mounting of TRG accessories like steel bipod.
Heavy and free-floating Barrel
The Sako TRG is identified as a sniper rifle and made through cold hammer forging process to make barrel action fast and super targeting possible for shooters. The free-floating and stainless steel made barrel is available in phosphatized or blued texture finish. Each model has no option for open sights.
Cold hammer forged Action Frame
The Sako TRG uses a cold hammer-forged and extra rigid action frame made from hard and alloyed steel. The receiver is again drilled and tapped for a Picatinny rail mounting. An Integral 17mm axial scope will be available on mounting rails with recoil stop-slots which are placed on the top of the receiver.
Quick and reliable Bolt Action
The bolt is usually black in all Sako TRG models and supplied with 3-locking lugs on the front end for very quick cycling turn in bolt action and proper control & ejection of mechanical case
Easily detachable Magazine
The magazines in Sako TRG rifles are not just reliable but also easily detachable. They vary in capacities and can be five rounds for a .338 Lapua rifle, seven round for a .300 Win rifle and ten rounds for a .308 Win weapon. These magazines offer fast and easy detaching and better grip by just supporting two-row movable and featuring buttons on both sides.
Higher degree of safety with no failure of Trigger
There is a completely adjustable and 2-stage rifle trigger system in TRG models which display a reliable and fast operating safety lever within the trigger guard. The trigger design is made to provide more safety by locking the firing pin and bolt handle. The adjustment of trigger system can be done in length and vertically and horizontally on pitch. The user can change the entire trigger system without even disassembling the sniper rifle.
