Jaipur, India also referred to as the Pink City or the Fairy-Tale City is a very romantic place that will take you back in time to the 18th century. During the 1720's King Sawai Jai Singh II founded this magnificent city.

The Jantar Mantar is one of five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. This observatory is the best preserved along with being the largest that is home to 13 different instruments that aid in calculating the movement of celestial bodies.

The City Palace designed first by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh with many additions from subsequent rulers is the center of the royal residences in Jodhpur. As you stroll through the City Palace, you will stand in awe at the spectacular courtyards with various buildings such as the Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Badal Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple, and the City Palace Museum. The palace is also home to miniature paintings, palanquins, manuscripts, and Persian carpets.
