One of life’s greatest pleasures is enjoying delicious meals at fine dining restaurants. While simpler forms of breaking bread have their own place, a classic food experience is an event to be relished by all the senses--taste first and foremost but also smell and sight, sound and touch.

One of life’s greatest pleasures is enjoying delicious meals at fine dining restaurants. While simpler forms of breaking bread have their own place, a classic food experience is an event to be relished by all the senses--taste first and foremost but also smell and sight, sound and touch. When all are engaged, it is a moment not to be forgotten.

Fine dining restaurants offer the chance to experience wonderful food in a setting with all the comforts of home but none of the hassles. The enjoyment of a meal that would not have been easily cooked on one’s own, served by a knowledgeable and conscientious server with gracious hospitality, in a beautiful atmosphere that enhances the mood is worth a great amount—possibly even more than the check.

There is nothing quite like a lingering conversation over a perfectly ...
... cooked piece of meat or fish, accompanied by just the right cocktail or wine. Many fine dining restaurants offer this invitation, but oftentimes the best place to find that perfect cut of USDA Prime beef or fresh, premium seafood would be at the steak house—a time-honored tradition. The steak house satisfies the broadest cross-section of the dining population, from the carnivorous commoner to the erudite epicurean. There truly is something for everyone. Steak houses are also renowned for their comforting side dishes, providing just the right complement for the main course, its namesake, which is and should be the star of the show.

When in Boston, a city overflowing with culture, there is no shortage of options for such fine dining. Bostonians and out-of-towners alike both relish in the charm of this unique city, and there may be no better way to experience that charm than through the city’s vast array of steakhouse restaurants. As an historic, coastal town, Boston is known for its seafood establishments, but Boston steak restaurants could easily overshadow them. Certainly some of the best options are the ones that incorporate both surf and turf. Why go for just fish or just steak when you can have them both?

Similarly, in Chicago steakhouses, the best options are from both the sea and the land. This bustling city is full of life and full of tourists and locals vying for a seat in the city’s fine dining restaurants. Like Boston, Chicago is awash in history and culture, and what better way to end a full day in the “Windy City” than to unwind over a fabulous meal prepared by any one of Chicago’s world-renowned chefs.

Every meal is important, but as we toast to a particularly fine meal, at a particularly fine restaurant, it reminds us of greater things. Gathering around the table, from Boston to Chicago, brings us to a realization that the world is smaller than we think it is and that those moments are more beautiful than we remembered they could be. Here’s to celebrating it together.
