First, is location. The best choice would be to find a centre that is closest to your work place. If the employer or company is providing this facility in their premises, it would ideal to choose it. Second, check whether it is run by single individual at home (to supplement income) or is a center based care given to groups of children. Third, check whether it is legally certified to run the center, some may be illegal also. Fourth, check on the details of the care giver or care givers background (are they trained in First-Aid) etc. Fifth, check the hygiene standards in and around the place. Sixth, make sure they follow the safety procedures (fire, insect repellant). Seventh, feel free to ask for the caregiver child ratio. (the smaller the better).
