Established in 1988, Cebu Pacific commenced its operations in 1996 having its main hub on the grounds of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila, Philippines. The airline also operates from the secondary hubs at the Mectan-Cebu International Airport, Clark International Airport, Francisco Bangoy International Airport and Iloilo International Airport. It started the international operations in 2000. The airline is tagged a low-cost air carrier flying to 33 domestic destinations and 20 international destinations across 13 countries. It is the first airline in Philippines to introduce e-ticketing, pre-paid excess baggage and selection of seats. It has partnerships with hotels, car rental services and travel insurance, which make it easier for the travelers to avail these services.

For booking tickets for this airline, one has to resort to any methods of reservation like booking online, at the booking offices in the airport, through authorized travel agents, through call centers, or on mobile phones. Being a low-cost carrier, the airline offers only one class of travel to the customers. You can book your favorite ...
... seat by making the booking well in advance and that too at a lower price. However, the earlier you book your tickets the lower will be the fares for the ticket. The airline offers two classes of travel in its flights and they are Standard and Premium. The Premium seats are the exit row seats with more leg room and the charges for Premium seats are higher than the Standard seats.

By pre-booking your baggage, you can save up to 50% of the fare. This an option offered by the airline, wherein you can pre-purchase your baggage allowance at the time of booking. There are different options available like Small up to 15 kg, Standard up to 20 kg, Large up to 30 kg and Extra Large up to 45 kg. This saves your time and money when you check in.

You can check-in online from 48 hours to 4 hours prior to the departure of the flight and print your boarding pass. This service is available to all passengers, except for expectant mothers, unaccompanied minors, customers with infants, group of 10, or more traveling under the same itinerary, and customers who need special assistance. Self check-in kiosks are also available for those who cannot check-in online. Here you have to report at the airport 4 hours prior to the flight departure. Those who need special assistance can request so at the time of booking.

In order to cut down the costs, Cebu Pacific does not offer you complementary meals onboard. However there is the Fun Shop option from which you can check the menu and purchase your meal, buy duty-free gift items for your friends and relatives, and buy other accessories that you need in the flight. You can also buy snacks, juices, tea, coffee, cold drinks and other food items onboard.
