Why I Ditched A Mobile Camera And Bought A Digital Camera

For years, I kept clicking photos (of my family, friends, strangers, trees, etc.) from my mobile phone handset; it was easy for me. With the help of Bluetooth, or USB, I would get all the photos on my age-old computer, and then, share them on Facebook with my friends. Everything was going on great until the day I realized that the quality of my photos wasn’t as good as of some of my friends’.

One evening I called up some of my friends, and asked which mobile phone they use to take photos (I didn’t tell them why I’m asking this question); they gave me a kind of shock when they said they used digital cameras and not mobile phones! “But, isn’t a camera a hefty thing?” I asked. “No, mine is a very compact one; you can easily hold it in your palm,” many of my friends said. After an hour long conversation, I made-up my mind to get myself a digital camera so I too can click the best quality photos. But, I didn’t want to pick up any camera; I wanted the best digital camera in the market; budget wasn’t a problem.

... He’d seen a program on a shopping channel; he’d noted down the brand of the camera, with its price, and contact number. The next morning, he came to my house, and told me about the camera, and the features it offered. It felt like the camera that I was looking for in all these days.

I immediately started my computer, and looked for that camera online; in the next minute, I found myself calling the number of that shopping program. Within 3 days, I got the camera at my doorstep; I was happy beyond my dreams! I un-wrapped the box, pulled out the camera, and without realizing that the delivery boy was still waiting for payment (I’d chosen cash on delivery) started clicking the photos of my walls. Once I came back to my senses, I realized my stupidity, and paid for the camera. The delivery boy went away, with a smile on his face.

I must tell you there was a stark difference between the quality, when I clicked the same objects from my camera, and mobile phone. Now that I’d become a proud owner of one of the best digital cameras in the market, I called up some of my friends, and told them about my latest purchase. I was on the seventh cloud that day!

It’s been more than 1 month since I bought that camera, and I’m more than happy with its features. My advice for all the people who want to buy a camera for pursuing their photography interests is they should look for the best digital camera.
