Giving Is A Good Thing
There are millions of people homeless and less fortunate than all the rest of us. You can do your bit by giving generously to the cause of the upliftment of the poor. Do you have old clothes that you can dispose off? Would you like to give some time to the blind, deaf and dumb?
You know that the world requires a wholesome, resourceful helping hand for the multitudes of poor, needy, sick and old people. If you were to take a walk down the narrow alleys of Dharavi, you would catch a glimpse of how people live in abject poverty. It is your duty to do something for them. Not necessarily out of sympathy, but for the simple reason that they too deserve a life. So many people are abandoned because of illnesses, old age and bankruptcy that it could fill the whole capacity of a million earths. What have these people done to deserve this? You can give all that you can with numerous NGOs in Mumbai.
Can’t you lend a helping hand to the travails of an abandoned family that has migrated to the city in search of better dreams? Can’t you see that the children of labourers and beggars have virtually no life?
In a buzzing ...
... city like Mumbai, you see so many broken dreams of people who don’t have one square meal a day, and if you get a chance to change this, wouldn’t you just do something as soon as you can?
Give with an open heart cause no matter how much you give, of resources and your time, in the case of poverty, it is never enough.
Instead of adding yet another car to your garage, make it so that you can give off munificently, in either cash or kind. There are people who have no warm clothes in the cruel winter of the city. Would you like to help out and give them their due?
Here is an NGO in Mumbai that reaches out to the most in need, and gifts them all that those who have can give. It is a great meeting place for the large hearted, spiritually awakened, and socially active persons of the world. So, even if you can spare a few hours of your precious time and help volunteer with the work that the NGO has all over the city, it will be a blessing in disguise for both, the organization and the needy.
Don’t delay any further and make the most of your ability to give. No amount of money, personal items or basic essentials are enough. Do your duty, and do it fast..
Even today, NGOs in Mumbai work relentlessly to provide warmth, care and support to the needy and poor people.TKF’s Ngo directory is a listing of active ngos in the country providing their activities and contact details for further contact.
