The wonderful pyramid-shaped structure encompasses 953 small windows reflecting excellent architecture and favored by the royal families of Rajasthan.

Jal Mahal is an architecturally beautiful palace which is situated amidst the picturesque surroundings of Mansagar Lake and Nahargarh hills. This pleasure palace of royal families built in the 18th century was meant for the royal duck shooting parties. It is the hot spot for bird watcher's because this lake serves as the home of various local as well as migratory birds.

There are several other travel attractions in the city such as, Govind Dev Ji Temple, Jantar Mantar, Birla Temple, Swami Narayan Temple, Galta Ji Temple, Ram Niwas Garden, Moti Dungri, Albert Hall Museum, vibrant Local Bazaars, etc.

These events add a touch of sparkle and festivity to daily life in this beautiful city. The bustling city is known for its tradition of celebrating each and every occasion and event with full pomp and show. On any ordinary day the city is bright, colorful and full of enjoyment, but when there are fairs and festivals, it is as though the entire city becomes magical. Some of the unique festivals that tourists must try and attend are the Kite festival, the Elephant festival, the Gangaur festival and the Teej festival.

An array of shops lining the bustling market area of the city, offer a vast variety of shopping. The blue potteries of Jaipur are famous all over the world. The intricate marketplace sells skirts, quilts, kurtis, bags, embroidered shoes, turbans and carpets in plenty. You can pick up a few items for family and friends. Sanganeri garments are a must-buy.
