Cancer – A Fatal Disease

For more than a century, cancer continues to be one of the most fatal medical threats to human lives. Cancer is not one but a group of different diseases that causes uncontrollable cell growth that leads to the formation of malignant tumor. Slowly, the germ spread to different parts of body. Tobacco consumption is often considered to be one major cause for the growth of cancer tissues in human body. However, environmental pollution, obesity, and alcohol intake can also lead to the growth of cancer tissue. The most common treatments of cancer include radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and surgery. However, neither of these treatments guarantees 100% success for curing this severely critical disease.
Cancer is broadly categorized into two different variants: (i) carcinomas, (ii) sarcomas.

Sarcomas can be defined as those types of tumor tissues that is developed are developed from soft FFPE tissues, muscle tissues, blood vessels, and deep skin tissues. This cancer variant affects soft tissues and bones. In fact, FFPE tissue is more commonly used for skin cancer research purpose.
The most common symptom of skin cancer is different type of sores that never heals. Common symptoms of lungs cancer are shortness of breath, chest pain, and blood coming out very frequently with cough. Anyone affected with pancreatic carcinoma will have symptoms like sudden fatigue and weakness, clay colored stool, and blood frequently coming out from urine. If cancer is detected at the earliest of stages, then cure is possible through proper treatment. However, in most of the cases, cancer is detected at a mid or end stage. Cure becomes practically impossible during such stages.
