The human body has a complex system of circulatory system consisting of arteries, veins and capillaries. The blood continuously flows in these blood vessels so that the whole body receives food through it. The blood reaches the heart through the arteries. While the blood flow, a pressure is exerted on the walls of the arteries which is termed as the blood pressure.

Some transient elevations in this pressure are normal human adaptation and it occurs due to fever, physical exertion or emotional strain like anger or fear. However, when this pressure become persistently high, it leads to high blood pressure or hypertension. Generally, hypertension remains silent for 10-20 years but causes inner strain to the heart and kidneys. Therefore, at times, it is also known as the silent killer. Prolonged hypertension can also lead to heart failure, vascular disease, renal failure or stroke. Thus, it becomes essential to reduce high blood pressure on time.

With the prolonged straining, the heart becomes weak and its walls lead to flabbiness. Some advance symptoms arising ...
... at this stage can be headache, swelling, rapid pulse, short breath, incorrect vision, dizziness, etc.

As soon as your doctor report this health disorder with you, he will give you some medications. However, one should know that prolonged medications can also cause side effects. Moreover, they cannot completely treat the problem but just control it. Therefore, the best way to control the hypertension is to opt for high blood pressure natural remedies. Studies have proved some of the home options and some lifestyle changes as the best natural remedies.

For your information, I am discussing some in brief:

Bananas: this is a potassium rich fruit and thus 6-7 servings of potassium rich fruits are highly recommended for a hypertensive patient. Some other fruits like this are baked sweet, winter squash, spinach, dried apricots, etc.

Canola and mustard seeds: a high BP patient is advised to cook in these polyunsaturated oils to lower their cholesterol and BP.

Breads: a substance known as homocysteine is found in blood which lowers the stretching ability of arteries. In hypertension condition, arteries become stiff and thus their elasticity is reduced.
However, folate present in beans, cereals, aspharagus, sprouts, etc lowers the amount of homocysteine.

Milk: consuming slim or low fat yoghurt works as one of the best high blood pressure natural remedies. This is due to the presence of calcium in it. You can also take green leafy vegetables for the same.

Broccoli: vegetables and fruits having lots of fiber are good remedies for hypertensive patients. Broccoli is one of them.

Celery: this is the only vegetable which contains 3-N butylphthalide names photochemical which helps to reduce high blood pressure. In addition to this, stress hormones which constrict the blood vessels are also reduced through eating celery.

Vitamin C: this is a popular anti-oxidant which prevents the damage of arteries by free radicals. You can either take it through foods or directly as pills or tablets.

These were some of the high blood pressure natural remedies which are easily and daily available in our kitchen. Try these and stay healthy.
